Future Experience Design Group

The Future Experience Design Group (FED Group) is grounded in Human-Centered Design (HCD). We study how emerging technologies can become more understandable, accessible, and meaningful in everyday life. Our work focuses on designing interactions that support clearer communication, more thoughtful use of technology, and more inclusive digital experiences.

How can humans and technology collaborate each other in an intended way?

To answer the question, we explore

How systems operate, respond, and shape interaction?

We investigate the internal logic and behavioral patterns of technological systems, including how they respond, guide interaction, and influence human experience. This helps us approach technology not only as a tool, but also as an active agent in interaction.

How people think, interpret, and experience technology?

We study the cognitive and reflective processes through which people perceive, interpret, and engage with technology. Our work explores how users form expectations, assign meaning, and negotiate their relationships with emerging technological systems.

Our goal is to envision futures in which technological systems support more meaningful, responsible, and human-centered experiences.
